The charm of the traditional Galician house WITH THE MOST MODERN COMFORT

This room is decorated in purple. It has a window in the bedroom and another one in the bathroom. It features a 1.50 cm chestnut bed, matching the bedside tables, this set has been in the house since my grandparent’s days. In this room you can fit an extra bed (90 cm.) Or a cot, if required. It has a full en-suite bathroom, with a bidet and a bath.

Cuarto da Cheminea en Casa de Roque Turismo rural de Galicia (Outes - A Coruña)

As its name suggests, this room is located just above the “lareira” and the fireplace chimney runs through part of the back wall. Before the restoration, this room was were all the whites and blankets were kept in big trunks, the perfect place to hide when we played hide-and-seek as a children!!
